    Farm
    • Farm just off St. John Road. He owned a farm that had the rail road tracks on the west side and to the north side of what is now Stewart Road. Melvin Macomber, his nephew, as a little boy, would be taken to visit "Uncle Martin" and was facinated by the large silos in the area and loved to put a penny on the rail road tracks to watch them get all squashed and streached out.

In 1942, when listing the farm location, it was off of River Road on St. John. River Road has been renamed Ladd Road. The area was called Stewart in Modesto township.

The area today is next to a country golf club and the farm has expensive houses on it.
