My gggrandmother was Matilda Ann Gambrell born Dec 28, 1823 in old Pendellton district SC married Larkin Bagwell in SC 1844. I so want to know who her father and mother was.

That looks remarkably like my photo of John Newton Gambrell. I would say so much so that I believe it is the same man.

I was interested to see that Jimmy Bryson is living on the old Gambrell homesite.
